being a black man..
is very difficult. It is crazy seeing a lot of my old classmates with kids, still on the corners or in jail.. like I remember when I used to want to be a lot of these dudes.. just cause they had the newest everything.. now I wouldn’t go back to the hood for anything.. so many.. scratch that.. too many of them are incarcerated.. can’t do anything with their lives.. feeling hopeless.. a lot of these leaders are not stepping up.. it is crazy if you ever saw the correlation between king and x and big and pac.. like they are.. meaning the government.. has silenced them all.. cointelpro and the black panther party still angers me.. the lack of education and awareness is scary.. but I’ll be back later.
